We got to know each other in late 2008 and then got to meet in Stockholm in early 2009. She has been part of a few of my collabs. I love her music and get very excited whenever a new song is up.

Me and Jess got to know each other during project for awesome 2008. She is thereby one of my first subscribers that I’m still in good contact with. We got to meet during Vidcon 2011 and since she was often guarding doors, I got to hug her a lot.
Her channel is vlogbased and has most notably been featuring a segment quitting for a cause in support of the uncultured project. She also participated in my Halloween collab. This girl cares, so you should absolutely go to her channel and look around.

This is the fifteenth video in the Advent Project 2011 series. Everyday from December 1st all the way up until christmas, I will present a Youtube friend who will talk about christmas in his or her own way. Today, I give you Michael Buckley and his channel WHATTHEBUCKSHOW.
I first discovered Michael after looking on Youtube for the Miss Teen South Carolina video. The date was August 27, 2007. There and then I subscribed (for the first time to a channel) to that channel as well as his second channel peron75. Through a video by him almost a year later, annspade made a video response. We became Internet friends and she encouraged me to post my videos to Youtube instead of just Facebook: And that’s how I became a Youtuber. I finally got to meet Michael at Vidcon this year. I am so grateful for what he has done for me. I even made a choir song to celebrate him hitting one million subscriber earlier this year.
Michael’s main channel is a hyperactive critic of all things entertainment. His second channel however is many times very serious, heartfelt and casual. I love the mix of this, and the fact that he almost always does one-takes which means he doesn’t hide behind editing (not that it’s a bad thing) because it does make him “more real” in a way.

We met the day before the Malmö gathering. She couldn’t be there on the actual day but we had a pre-gathering meet up with a couple of people. For the Copenhagen meet-up which Simon organized, me and Ylva went and had a very good time. She also participated in my Halloween collab.
ylvos is a fairly new channel which mixes vlogs with a little bit of sketch. Her ice-cream halloween video is well worth a look and so of course, is her channel.

This is the thirteenth video in the Advent Project 2011 series. Everyday from December 1st all the way up until christmas, I will present a Youtube friend who will talk about christmas in his or her own way. Today, I give you Matilda, Sandra, Linda and Rama from the channel IsmaProject.
I discovered them in early 2011 and we got to meet, all of us, at the Stockholm Youtube Gathering that I hosted in May 2011.
This channel is very unique. In a world of collab channels this channel features classmates in Sweden led by Matilda and mainly the other three where they move around in school, at home, on vacation and so on. Videos are posted more or less daily and you get a fascinating look into their lives. This is one of my favorite vlog channels, not only in Sweden but the world.

This is the twelfth video in the Advent Project 2011 series. Everyday from December 1st all the way up until christmas, I will present a Youtube friend who will talk about christmas in his or her own way. Today, I give you DJ and Jeremy from the channel FriendsofEnemiesBand.
As with almost all new subscribers, I went to their channel after they had subscribed to me. I do this to keep in touch with where my viewers are coming from. In this case, I watched a few videos and decided with no doubt in my mind to subscribe back.
Friends Of Enemies is pop-punk music band consisting of DJ, Jeremy, Josh, Jason and Mike from Connecticut. The mix music videos with vlogs with a very sound approach to growing online. These guys rock!!!

I believe we met through MrBuchananToYou on Twitter. She also took part in the 10 second collab series and all though we have not yet met, we’ve grown fond of each other :).
Hellen813 is a Ukrainian Youtuber who’s a big fan of Doctor Who. She mostly does vlogs, ranging from commentary to self reflection. Undoubtedly, she will add to your Youtube experience so it is my belief that you should head over to her channel and have a look.

We first subscribed to each other’s channels right before the Summer in the City gathering in London 2010. On the Sunday meet-up she approached me and it took a few seconds for me to understand who she was. I am so happy she approached me like that: probably the first one to do that like that. She has participated in my collabs since and I look forward to meet up with her again.
icklenellierose is a commenter on life. She will make you laugh, speak her mind and play video games. Go looky looky.

We slowly got to know each other sometime around the beginning of 2011 through twitter and Youtube. He participated in my 10 second collab series. We got to meet briefly at Vidcon this summer.
JoshRimer does comedy, sketches, vlogs, well just about everything. He’s straightforward and in my humble opinion, a very funny guy. Go check him out.

We got to know each other sometime around the beginning of 2011 but we have failed to actually meet in person.
nerdphilia is a total gamer, a lover of games and yes, you guessed it, a gaming loving freak. In the event of a game not working or awaiting a new game, her twitter is filled with deep emotions of the cruelty of the world :) If you’re into gaming, you just need to be following this girl.
